An Intimate 21C Hotel Wedding | Lexington, KY

Kelsey and John were married in an intimate ceremony at Kelsey’s parent’s home in Lexington, KY which included their closest friends and family. More of their family and friends then joined for the reception at the 21C Hotel and Museum also located in Lexington, KY. Their beautiful October wedding included so many heartfelt pieces that was personal to them.. (Their lovely dog, Henry, for example… 😉 ). The whole day was simply perfection filled with such class and elegance!

Kelsey and I originally met through a mutual friend and was drawn to how sweet and genuine is. You can truly feel the love between her and John when they are together. They are both so laidback and seemed to truly soak in every moment together. Since they are both such avid University of Kentucky fans, it was only fitting to stream the football game at their reception! There were bits of details scattered throughout the day that just showcased them and their lives. (Check out the adorable Henry napkins!) They also had an awesome photo-op at the end of the night where each couple/family/friend group would come in and take their photograph with the bride and groom. We cycled through all of their guests in a matter of 20 minutes! I loved the idea; it was a great way to incorporate and interact with each and every guest! Lots of laughs were shared and it was an absolute hit! Kelsey’s dad also had all of his siblings there which was the first time they were all together in a good while so we were able to get a great shot of everyone! What a special moment!
