A Whimsical Church Wedding

Garrison and Hailey were married on a beautiful August day. Even though there was a little rain, it still made for a lovely ceremony and reception. These two tied the knot at Hailey’s childhood church located in Rogers, KY, just on the outskirts of the Red River Gorge. We then traveled to Three Roses Wedding Barn located in Hazel Green, KY for a lovely reception with some awesome dancing! Shooting a wedding 4 weeks postpartum was not the easiest, but these two made it beyond easy and so so worth it!

There were bits of Hailey and Garrison sprinkled throughout their day. The ceremony was very heartfelt and whimsical, with lanterns, greenery, and twinkly lights throughout. One of my favorite things were their wedding favors which included personalized bookmarks and complimentary books that were categorized by genre, so so original and creative! It was a nice nod to their love of reading! Not long after the first dances, they opened up the dance floor and had the most vibrant dance floor I’ve ever seen at a wedding! I think there were large groups of people on the dance floor for over 2 hours straight… this included the groom himself, who showed off his moves and his karaoke skills 😉 (I didn’t get to capture that unfortunately!)

Overall, it was a wonderful day filled with love and laughter from beginning to end. Garrison and Hailey are a perfect match and I couldn’t be happier for them. You could just feel the love for them through their family and friends. Congratulations to the both of you! Love you both, and thank you for entrusting me with memories from your special day!
